Wroclaw University of Science and Technology is one of the largest and best technical universities in Poland and a leader in Polish university rankings. Third place among technical universities, sixth place in the overall classification and traditionally first place in Lower Silesia – these are the results of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in the ranking of universities of the Perspektywy 2020 Foundation. In the same ranking, four faculties of teaching at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology were recognized as the best in Poland. These are: Architecture (Faculty of Architecture), Construction (Faculty of Civil Engineering) and Chemical Technology (Faculty of Chemistry) among technical and engineering faculties, and Spatial Management (Faculty of Architecture) in the category of social faculties.

About 25,000 students receive modern technical education here. They are educated at 13 faculties and 3 branches in Jelenia Gora, Legnica and Walbrzych, with a choice of 50 diverse majors and 36 programs conducted in foreign languages. Study programs are closely related to the development of new technologies, including nanotechnology, biotechnology, telecommunications, data communications, IT technologies. The university has well-equipped modern laboratories for world-class research and experiments, and cooperates with many Polish and foreign research centers, institutions and enterprises. Among the closest partners of the university include: Volvo, Nokia, Microsoft, IBM, KGHM, LG or Credit Suisse. Thanks to cutting-edge research, we have been an innovation leader for years and dominate the reports of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland in this regard. In recent years, we have allocated several hundred million zlotys for the purchase of research equipment, machinery and apparatus.

As part of the “Study in Wroclaw” project, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology offers 3 free places for Polish-language first degree programs. It is mandatory to register in the Study in Wroclaw REGISTRATION project and to register and upload the required documents in the IRK system of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.

• document certifying possession of the required level of Polish or English language for the purpose of study – certificate of previous education in the language / language certificate (Polish – State Certificate or PWr at least at B2 level; English – IELTS, TOEFL, etc. at least at B2 level) / Skype interview (registration for the interview through the IRC system)
• declaration about not having Polish citizenship – sample can be downloaded from the IRC system
• declaration of parents/guardians of a minor student – sample can be downloaded from the IRC system
